Welcome Statement
Belmont Heights United Methodist Church follows the example of Jesus Christ, practicing intentional hospitality and outspoken love to our community and beyond. We affirm that all people are of sacred worth and created in the Image of God. We welcome, affirm and celebrate all persons, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, race, ethnicity, age, faith history, economic status, marital status, physical and mental ability, education, and any other difference, real or perceived. We invite all to journey with us in the Holy Spirit to become a disciple of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

We are a community of faith who are welcoming and passionate followers of Jesus. We are making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are located in and have been serving the Belmont Heights Neighborhood of Long Beach for over 100 years. We are connected across the globe with other United Methodist churches.
